We Plot and We Plan

In Fabric Arts, painting, Village Artisans, yarnbombing, Yellow Springs on November 8, 2010 at 1:41 pm

As we crawl into the winter months the jafagirls continue to work on their own projects and plot other one’s. Nancy continues to paint doggies like mad or is it madly paint doggies.  Just  SO ADORABLE!

available at Village Artisans

and Jafabrit (moi) is working on a new embroidery for the Flower Power Exhibit coming up in Jan 2011 at the Emporium in town (more on that later).

I know, doesn’t look like much at the moment but that’s the thing with WIP’s.

Meanwhile a new yarnbombing is in the works and we knit and crochet, not in our rocking chairs, but here, there and everywhere.

Wild Women

Jafabrit and Nancy Mellon

Nancy  ran a  “paint like pollock” workshop for her “Getaways for Women: Wild Women Event.”  I was her helper and got to play and photograph wild women, and let me tell you they did get wild flinging that paint on the canvas. It was a BLAST!
