First Radio show about yarnbombing

In Radio show, yarnbombing on February 23, 2011 at 8:29 pm

Nancy and I (she made me wear those glasses, honest) started doing a radio show with Blog Talk Radio called Bit’s & Bobs with the Jafagirls . I’m the bit and she’s the bob and our first show is scheduled for March 1st at 2pm and  is  focused on yarnbombing and the last 10 mins the Bit’s and Bobs :) A joke, what’s on my blog, what’s going on around town, and the secret word/s, etc. Sort of flubbed my words a bit and getting a brain freeze is very easy when one is on the spot, yikes.  Can’t share what the secret word is here, if you tell me what it is I’ll know you listened to the show (hee!hee!)

Show links: about Yinka Shonabare on jafabrit’s art, yarnbombing wesbite, the book yarnbombing :the art of knit and crochet graffiti,  Yellow Springs arts councilyellow springs arts blog,  Yellow Springs experience wellness weekend……… Knit the City

English Cuisine , “In 2005, 600 food critics writing for (British) Restaurant magazine named 14 British restaurants among the 50 best restaurants in the world” ………….and what are crumpets and tar- in- a- jar (marmite) as Maggie Hall calls it in her Mish Mash Dictionary of Marmite

We got a wee mention in the Boston Globe Watch the Streets-knitters are on the loose and I’m liking what they’re doing in Boston, the wild woolly makeover is FUN, bet the kids love it. As usual someone HAD to comment about the homeless, groan, if they care about the homeless read this, or the presumed smell, reaaaaaaaaaaally!
